Character menu (left)

The sidebar is where you edit the selected lowpoly character. Click a character in the 3D view to switch which one the controls apply to. Sections include upload & face markers, body & outfit, animation, PS1-style dither, imported GLB models, and export.

Importing GLB models

.glb files are binary GLTF 3D models. Add one by dragging it onto the viewport or use the toolbar + (Add to scene) → Import GLB from PC….

Either way, a dialog asks whether to use the built-in GLTF viewer or import into the scene. The viewer opens a separate preview with a dimmed backdrop: you can orbit and zoom to inspect the model without changing your workspace. Import adds the model to the scene like any other object (textures and animations from the file are included).

Scene toolbar (top right)

These tools work on whatever model is selected in the scene (lowpoly characters or imported GLB). Empty space click deselects.

  • Move (free) — Drag the model in the view plane without axis arrows.
  • Translate — Red / green / blue arrows move along X, Y, and Z.
  • Rotate — Colored rings rotate around each axis.
  • Transform — Sculpt / liquify: click and drag on any body part to stretch, expand, or reshape it. Adjust radius and strength with the sliders that appear. Hold Shift to push inward instead of pulling outward.
  • Glue — Click the object to attach, then click the body part on the character where it should sit. It parents to that limb/bone so it follows the animation (use the second click on the actual surface—e.g. the head—not empty space).
  • Detach — Click a glued model to free it back into the scene.
  • Delete — Removes the selected model (confirmation).
  • Reset — Next to undo/redo. Opens a menu: reset everything (clears imports + undo), re-center all models to idle, reset camera only, or reset just the selected model.
  • Undo / Redo — Located next to the ? button. Reverts or re-applies actions (transform, sculpt, sidebar changes). Ctrl+Z to undo, Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y to redo. Tracks the last 20 actions.
  • Add (+) — Opens Add to scene: new lowpoly character, import a .glb from your PC, or add primitive shapes (cube, sphere, cylinder, cone, torus, plane). Imports and shapes can be moved, rotated, glued, and deleted like other models.

Quick animation slots (right side)

Click ◀/▶ to show or hide the animation bar.

Top row (4) — Combined animations (same idea as sidebar "Combine animations"): keys 8 9 0 − (minus). Click a tile to play; + picks which animations to merge.

Row below (7) — Single animations on keys 1–7. Both rows persist in the browser.

Sequence row — Build a step-by-step animation playlist. Click + Add sequence step to add steps (each with a custom duration). Click a chip to remove it. Use to play, ⟳/→ to toggle looping, and to clear.

Recording mode

Record the selected character moving through the scene and export the result as an animated GLB.

  • Space or the red circle button — Start / stop recording.
  • W A S D / on-screen joystick — Move the character. Hold Shift to run.
  • J / on-screen button — Jump.
  • 8 9 0 − — Play the four combo slots (merged animations). 1–7 — Single-animation slots. Click any tile or use keys; + changes what is assigned.
  • Camera (icon) — Cycles: orbit (default) → chase (behind, follows travel direction while recording) → first person → orbit again.

When you stop, you can Export the recording as a GLB with the baked animation, or Discard it. The sidebar is locked during recording so you stay focused on the scene.

Pick an animation and a face for each slot. All 5 clips export as separate, looping animations inside one GLB — each with its own face baked in.
